UPC selects euNetworks as preferred supplier for network capacity

Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS 19 June, 2007 – euNetworks, owner and operator of one of Europe’s highest capacity fiber networks and provider of mission critical communication infrastructure and services, today announced that UPC, one of the largest broadband cable operators in Europe, added euNetworks to its list of preferred providers. Under the terms of the contract, euNetworks will deploy metro¦nex – multiple redundant, high capacity private fiber rings enabling the speedy provisioning of high performance triple and multi-play services. Metro¦nex will be deployed in Amsterdam and will seamlessly connect UPC’s 2.4 million Internet subscribers locally and internationally.
