13th March, 2006 – Global Voice Group Limited (GVG) (SGX: H23.SI), owner and operator of metropolitan fiber networks across Europe, has today announced that it has been awarded a multi-year contract to provide a dedicated private fiber network to leading Internet Services provider Hosting365.
Exploiting Global Voice’s Dublin metropolitan network to provide the service has enabled Hosting365 to deploy a Gig-e (1,000Mbps) solution over dedicated fiber facilitating the replacement of the existing Fast Ethernet (100Mbps) service and resulting in a 10X increase in performance.
Hosting 365’s dedicated Gig-e circuit securely and redundantly connects five major datacentres in Dublin ensuring the highest availability of service at all times. Global Voice owns and operates Dublin’s most advanced and meshed networks thus affording Hosting365 the resilience it demands in order to service their clients.
