Delivering bandwidth services to a new location in Düsseldorf and upgrading the bandwidth infrastructure solution. Expanding relationship with one of Europe’s largest freight and warehousing exchanges.
London, UK; Frankfurt am Main, GERMANY – 4 February 2014 – euNetworks GmbH, a subsidiary of euNetworks Group Limited, today announced it has expanded its relationship with customer TimoCom Soft-und Hardware GmbH (‘TimoCom’), one of Europe’s largest freight and warehousing exchanges. euNetworks has been supporting TimoCom’s business since 2011, delivering bandwidth connectivity between its office and data centre in Düsseldorf. A new multi-year agreement delivers scalable bandwidth to a new data centre site, supporting data centre coupling, and additionally upgrades the connectivity with the deployment of new hardware as part of this.
TimoCom has rapidly grown from start-up to a medium sized business, with a growing IT platform underpinning its exchange offering for the freight, logistics, warehousing and transport industries. Operating in over 44 European countries, with platforms supporting 24 languages, TimoCom’s IT infrastructure needs to securely store vast amounts of data, be responsive, secure and scalable. With growing reliance on data centres for business efficiency, TimoCom also needs rapidly scaling bandwidth services connecting these sites, from a provider with high quality performance.
euNetworks is delivering both fibre channel and Ethernet services to TimoCom as they move to a new data centre in Düsseldorf, with bandwidth now connecting their IT infrastructure which is located at both InterXion and Equinix in the city.
“euNetworks continues to understand our bandwidth requirements, responding quickly to our needs as our IT infrastructure continues to expand,” said Marco Haack, Director of IT Infrastructure and Services for TimoCom Soft- und Hardware GmbH. “We’re in the process of transitioning to a new data centre and need a stable network solution to maintain uptime for our customers in the process. The technical expertise, performance and flexibility we receive from euNetworks is invaluable as we continue to expand.”
