24 July 2006 – Customer Message from CEO Noel Meaney Dear Customer, As a valued customer and partner, I would like to take this opportunity to update you on a number of recent and exciting company developments. To expand our offering today we formally announced the acquisition of Viatel Holding Incorporated’s long-haul network. As a result of the Viatel acquisition, euNetworks now owns and operates one seamless “long-haul” fiber network linking Germany, The Netherlands, United Kingdom, France and Belgium and connecting to our 15 “last-mile” fiber networks in Amsterdam, Berlin, Cologne, Dublin, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, The Hague, Hamburg, Hanover, London, Munich, Paris, Rotterdam, Stuttgart and Utrecht. No other industry player has the capacity -in excess of 6.4 million kilometres- or the end-to-end reach of euNetworks. Our €2 billion next generation network now positions us superbly as we roll out mission critical communications infrastructure and solutions for Europe’s leading corporates, carriers and service providers. In conjunction with the acquisition, we took the opportunity to re-brand the company from Global Voice to euNetworks. On our new website, www.eunetworks.com, not only can you able to peruse the range of dedicated infrastructure, network solutions and managed services we deploy, but also navigate our interactive maps which pinpoint the exact routing of euNetworks. Our massive fiber capacity enables euNetworks to offer you a unique pricing and business model called “private fiber networks”. Essentially, we deliver dedicated, secure and un-metered fiber strands across Europe over our wholly-owned network. This provides virtually unlimited bandwidth, door-to-door, at a flat rate, and all under one SLA. To further enhance our service, we have greatly expanded the euNetworks professional services team who design and deploy bespoke networking solutions such as Gigabit Ethernet, 10 Gigabit Ethernet, WDM (wavelength division multiplexing), SDH (synchronous digital hierarchy) and IPVPNs (Internet Protocol Virtual Private Networks). As ever, each client solution is designed with 100 percent fail-over redundancy and monitored 24X7 from our Frankfurt-based Network Operating Center. Complementing our existing Dublin and Frankfurt locations, euNetworks is also delighted to announce the rollout of a 3,000-plus square-meter premium data center space in Amsterdam. This high-power density datacenter will support us in the rollout of managed services including hosting (co-location, applications), storage (offsite storage and data replication), and security (firewalls, intrusion prevention), To fund the rollout of our new long-haul network and the expansion of our sales and professional services team, we recently completed a very successful round of fundraising, which saw €35 million injected into euNetworks. Our ability to secure this funding was directly related to market confidence in our continued growth, as the business model of private fiber networks continues to develop and gain traction in the corporate and carrier markets. At euNetworks we strongly believe that these recent developments enable us to better serve you by providing you with a wider range of services across Europe, more cost-efficiently and from a single, trusted supplier. We look forward to updating you further at a breakfast briefing on 13 September (details to follow). If you have any queries in the meantime, please contact our Frankfurt office at +49 69905540 or send an email to corporate@www5.eunetworks.com.
Yours Faithfully,
Noel Meaney Chief Executive Officer
