Completion of Acquisition

18 October 2004 – The Board of Directors of Horizon Education & Technologies Limited (‘Horizon’ or the ‘Company’) is pleased to announce that the Horizon Group had on 18 October 2004 completed its acquisition (the ‘Acquisition’) of the Global Voice Networks Group, comprising Global Voice Networks AG and its subsidiaries.

The Board of Directors of Horizon Education & Technologies Limited (‘Horizon’ or the ‘Company’) is pleased to announce that the Horizon Group had on 18 October 2004 completed its acquisition (the ‘Acquisition’) of the Global Voice Networks Group, comprising Global Voice Networks AG and its subsidiaries.

The Global Voice Networks Group is held by GV Networks Pte. Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company. GV Networks Pte. Ltd. was incorporated on 13 October 2004 and has an issued and paid-up capital of S$1.00.
