About the Customer
We worked in partnership with Vodafone to deliver a solution for a leading global IT solutions provider that equips some of the world’s largest enterprises across finance, technology, energy, public sector and more with the tools and services they need to deliver business outcomes and drive innovation and productivity. The organisation connects over 1,300 customers through their worldwide network of 160+ data centres.
Meeting Evolving Data Centre Demands
The customer needed to upgrade their legacy data centre network to meet increasing end-user requirements. Tighter regulation requirements, particularly within the financial sector, combined with overall rising demand for data centre capacity meant that the organisation needed to provide their customers with data centres that were increasingly secure, scalable and compliant with strict regulations.
A Dedicated Infrastructure Solution
euNetworks and Vodafone provided a dedicated, fully bespoke Private Network MOFN Solution as the infrastructure connecting both new data centres and legacy data centres that were in the process of being migrated. The private, high-speed solution is tailored to the organisation’s specific requirements, with built-in scalability. Each network component is proactively managed 24/7 by euNetworks’ Network Operations Centre (NOC), and is managed to tightly controlled SLAs.
The services have been delivered in Denmark, Switzerland and France, with delivery currently under way in Germany and the UK.
Delivery Ahead of Schedule
euNetworks and Vodafone delivered the solution earlier than forecast, creating efficiencies in the migration of the customer’s legacy data centres. The customer is now proactively selling MOFN solutions to their own customers via euNetworks and Vodafone.
